Cavignac Committee Series – Events

As our organization has grown and evolved over the last 31 years, it has been important to delegate responsibilities amongst the staff in order to achieve the highest standard for our clients and our colleagues. This is why we implemented 5 different committees that focus on different areas of our business and culture. The committees are as follows:

  1. Events Committee
  2. Wellness Committee
  3. Charity Committee
  4. Focus Group
  5. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee

Over the next several weeks, we will highlight each of our committees and provide some insight into all the work they do for our organization. We will start this series off by featuring the committee that keeps the Cavignac camaraderie high across the organization as we continue to grow and welcome new members to our team.

The Events Committee is led by our Director of First Impressions, Bethany Morgan and our HR Generalist, Jacqueline Graf. The two of them work together, along with their committee members, by meeting monthly to plan events for the staff both in our local San Diego area as well as virtual events for out-of-state employees.

The Events Committee was designed to ensure our colleagues are able to spend more time together outside of the work setting, in order to build stronger relationships and stay connected. A main focus is to be sure our remote employees feel connected to the agency whether they live locally or across the country.

Over the years, the Events Committee has planned exceptional outings for the team including Padres games, happy hours at our favorite local spots, our annual ping-pong tournament, summer bonfires and end of year celebrations. In addition, they have implemented virtual events such as family feud and virtual bingo, allowing us to stay connected with our colleagues residing outside of San Diego.

We are fortunate to have colleagues that are dedicated to making Cavignac such a wonderful place to work by contributing to our culture through their involvement both up close and from afar.
