In this edition of “Conversations with…” we sat down with Crystal Tilley in our Personal Lines Department, to learn more about her career and her life outside of work.

What is your favorite part about your role at Cavignac?

My favorite part about my role at Cavignac is being able to serve and help people with their insurance needs. The industry is complicated, and if I can help simplify and answer any questions or concerns an insured may have, that makes me feel good.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to not worry so much, and to take life one day at a time. It doesn’t matter how old we are, we will always continue to learn and grow.

If you could pick any job in the world, money is not an object, what would it be?

If I could pick any job in the world, I would have loved to have been a nurse. Helping people when they are in a vulnerable situation and showing compassion would be extremely rewarding.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

My favorite things to do outside of work are mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and paddleboarding. I’m in my happy place when I am outside doing something active.

What do you look forward to in 2023, both personally and professionally?

Professionally, I am looking forward to growing within my role here at Cavignac, and to continue learning from my colleagues. Personally, I’m looking forward to getting married next month and to hopefully one day start a family.
