Daniel has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry with a specialized background in Large Accounts, focusing on helping clients prepare to lower their total cost of risk through performance based programs like large deductibles, self-insured retentions and captives. Most recently, Daniel spent the last 16 years leading the Travelers Construction Department in the Western Region, where he managed a team of dedicated Construction Underwriters. Daniel’s responsibilities extended to Risk Control, Claim, Operations, and Accounting. Through his management and underwriting talents, he was successful at tripling both the written premium and the Account Executive team. Additionally, Daniel spent time with CNA’s Major Markets (Accounts over $5,000,000 in Premium) and Hartford’s National Account Division.

Daniel completed his undergraduate degree at UCSD as a double major in Economics and Asian History. After consulting for a couple years, he moved to Chicago to complete his MBA at DePaul University. Daniel now lives in Fountain Valley with his two children, one of which is an accomplished Cross Country & Track High School athlete. In his free time, Daniel likes to play volleyball, cook, and garden.
