Biography
Dan Smith joined Cavignac in 2015, bringing with him a well-rounded background in management and administration. After graduating from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science, Dan began his career in customer service and to this day strives to create raving fans. Building on this background, Dan served as an assistant office manager of a travel agency in Englishtown, NJ where he oversaw a 20-plus person staff, accounts payable and receivable, employee payments and payroll. Wanting to return to the west coast, Dan moved back to San Diego in 2015 and joined Cavignac a month later.
Dan started his career with Cavignac as the Risk Control Coordinator, rekindling his passion for customer service by helping clients with their claims. Since 2017, Dan has continued his education earning his CRM, CIC, and recently the AIC, all to better understand how our clients run their business and how claims impact the bottom line. There is nothing more he loves to do than to advocate on our clients’ behalf to resolve claims in a mutually beneficial manner.
Dan currently resides in Bankers Hill where he and his wife recently welcomed their first son. In his past, he was a rugby player, but now channels all his leisure time to making memories with his loving wife and son.
