Biography
Preston Cavignac has been serving Cavignac clients since 2011, providing strategic risk management and insurance solutions to organizations across a wide range of industries, including real estate, construction, development, manufacturing, hospitality, technology, marine, and nonprofit organizations.
An active leader within the business and development communities, Preston has held numerous leadership roles in professional organizations throughout San Diego. His involvement includes serving on the Developing Leaders Council for the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA), the Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and as Co-Chair of the Young Leaders Partnership Forum for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is also actively involved with the Building Industry Association (BIA) and the Associated General Contractors (AGC), and is a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s IMPACT Program.
Preston earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he was also a member of the USC football team. Outside of his professional career, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Preston is an active member in a number of associations, including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he serves on the Developing Leaders Council; the Association of Builders and Contractors, where he serves on the Board of Directors; the Urban Land Institute, where he has served as Co-Chair for their Young Leaders Partnership Forum; the Building Industry Association; and the Association of General Contractors. He is also a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s IMPACT Program.

Outside of his professional career, Preston enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, as well as surfing, golfing and skiing.
