It is always surprising how quickly the years come to a close. As we near the end of 2022 it is also timely to reflect back on what we have achieved and accomplished.
Business Highlights
2022 has been a solid year for us. When our clients do well we do well and despite the inflationary challenges, continued supply chain issues and residual COVID effects, our clients did well. We were able to welcome a number of new clients as well which was mainly driven by our unique approach to Risk Management. Retention of our existing clients and welcoming our new clients has enabled us to grow our top line.
Culture Highlights
The culture at Cavignac is something we pride ourselves on. It is why we hire quality individuals and have established a workplace that is the best in the industry across the nation. Over the course of the last year we have brought on a number of new colleagues. Our recruitment efforts exceeded our annual goal as we strive to ensure that each team is equipped with enough support to meet the needs of both our clients and our colleagues. We look forward to continuing to watch them grow in their careers here at Cavignac.
While we always enjoy our time together in the office, we cherish our time together around San Diego, enjoying all our great city has to offer! Some top highlights included a team event at Petco Park to cheer on our Padres, our summer solstice event at the Catamaran Resort, and numerous team hikes and walks put on by our Wellness Committee.

Community Highlights
Lastly, while all our company values are equally as important, we recognize the importance of giving back to the community that has given us so much, especially to those facing adversity. This is why we offer colleagues the opportunity to automatically contribute an amount of their choosing, from each paycheck to our charitable fund, which supports 23 different non-profits in the community. Our bi-weekly contributions range anywhere from $1-$100. Below is a list of organizations these contributions served this year.

In addition to granting a financial contribution to a number of organizations in our community, we also got the chance to work alongside the people they support and give back to the city we have called home for the last 30 years. Whether it was volunteering at Serving Seniors down the road, spending the weekend catching waves at Challenged Athletes Foundation Adaptive Surf Clinic, or putting in some miles at the Corporate Dash 5K and San Diego Humane Society Walk for Animals, it is difficult to leave these experiences without feeling inspired by the individuals they serve.
This time of year, always seems to be one of reflection, looking back on all we accomplished in the last 12 months. As a company we are proud of what we have done and feel fortunate for the clients and community we have the opportunity to serve. We are looking forward to another great year in 2023!
